As part of London Design Festival, Islington Design District deliver a programme of events and exhibitions, championing exemplary and forward thinking design.
The Brief
For Islington Design District’s second year, we were asked to refresh the identity to help coalesce a diverse range of local talent and international brands around the theme of ‘Design Journeys’, while retaining key brand elements for continuity.
The Solution
Evolving the 2021 campaign identity, we explored the theme of journeys for the 2022 edition, conveying both the physical and metaphorical travels we take as creatives in our daily practice and as part of an international event like London Design Festival.
The Client
The Campbell Hay team, passion and drive filters through everything they do and they delivered sheer quality for LDF and IDD. They have been a pleasure to work with and we look forward to working with them again next year!

The extraordinary line-up for IDD22 included the likes of Sam Jacob Studio, NKDWare, Dominic Mckenzie Architects, Marion Deuchars and Bench Studio hosting pop-ups, live events and workshops during the London Design Festival.
The identity we delivered for the revival of the Islington Design District celebrated each of the partners in a dynamic way, but still gave IDD a distinct visual language of its own.
